".doctree" files included in distribution tarball

      Since we switched from Mallard to Sphinx for generating our HTML and man page documentation, "make dist" now calls sphinx-build and generates cache files in "doc/html/.doctrees". I've manually removed these from the distribution for 1.6.0. Let's figure out how to update our Makefile.am scripts to exclude these files from the tarball automatically.
