I originally opened CDRIVER-1494 to request setters for "authMechanism" and "authMechanismProperties"; however, only a setter for "authMechanismProperties" was implemented.
I expect that this setter will look very much like mongoc_uri_set_auth_source().
Note that mongoc_uri_option_is_utf8() still reports true for "authMechanism", so that will need to be changed.
