Although I thought this ticket was already present, various searches failed to find it.
Some customers have trouble interpreting and reporting from DevTools, particularly the part about selecting and exporting the contents of the "Console".
In order to expedite and simplify the support experience for customers, provide a mechanism that supports uploading a log file from Compass. Possibilities include:
- add a new menu item labelled "Save Log File"
- add a new menu option labelled "Enable Debugging" (with the log file written to a known location)
The content of the log file would include at a minimum everything present in the DevTools [Console] tab.
Instructions from support should mention enabling debugging (if necessary), reproducing the issue and then saving or uploading the log file...
