Compass fails launching on Windows 10 (JavaScript error)

      Occasionally when trying to open MongoDBCompass I get an error:

      A JavaScript error occured in the main process

      Uncaught Exception:
      Error: Object has been destroyed at Function.<anonymous>
      (C:\Users\caje\AppData\Local\MongoDBCompass\app-1.15.4\resources\app.asar\src\m...:19)

      Then, Compass continues to a full crash. This happens 4/5 times for me, and is typically consistent between reboots.
