I've tested with beta 2, but it's not an available fix version.

Connecting to atlas free tier using SRV record takes about 30 seconds. I didn't see anything stand out in the dev tools network console (but i'm no expert there).

If i take the one of the individual hosts which the SRV record is pointing to, it connects in < 1 second. Seems like a problem either with the embedded driver or SRV record handling in compass 1.19
