Allow to test auto-updates with a local / staging autoupdate server

      This would allow us to test changes to auto-updates since we need a signed package.

      Can be done by allowing configuration for the protocol. ie. AUTOUPDATE_SERVER_PROTOCOL=http and adding an host to /etc/hosts or similar for win
