Problem Statement/Rationale

Data Explorer uses Compass components directly but would still like to be able to toggle between light and dark mode. Currently this is not possible as the light/ dark mode is determined by the use-theme.tsx hook.

Is it possible to expose an optional prop that allows Data Explorer to control the configured light/ dark mode based on the Cloud user's preferences?
