Problem Statement/Rationale
When I open Compass, every so often it will say there is a new version of Compass available. When you click the OK or Update (don't remember the button label), nothing happens.
Please be sure to attach relevant logs with any sensitive data redacted.
How to retrieve logs for: Compass; Shell
Steps to Reproduce
On windows, open Compass when there is an update available. You should get the "there is an update available" dialog. Click OK or Update, whatever the button label is, and you will see that nothing happens. In fact, I have NEVER seen it work.
Expected Results
I would expect a dialog to be displayed indicating the update had been performed. When you don't get a confirmation dialog, you have no idea if you got updated or not.
Actual Results
I will tell you that the update doesn't happen because I have said yes to the update, but low and behold, the next time you open Compass you get the same, annoying dialog that does nothing.
