There are 2 bugs in atlas ui for inserting a document.
a) When user changes type to Date, no sample date value is populated. This leads to poor user experience. There is a sample value with Timestamp field. See COMPASS-7818.
b) If user try to insert a bad document, UI gives a banner and disables the insert button. If user cancel the dialog and retry again with right document, insert button is still disabled. One of the steps to reach bad document state is shown in below recording.
