What is going wrong? What action would you like the Engineering team to take?
The problem is that we were applying aggregation queries in compass it was some result but when we were applying the same aggregation via code tested with 2 languages node js and java the result was way different we spent our half day thinking it was our issue but we applied the same aggregation in compass mongo shell it gave the same result which we got in our codes so the visual count was wrong which wasted our a lot of time

Steps to Reproduce

How could an engineer replicate the issue you're reporting?
I believe it is a issue on grouping whenever i grouped on something it was giving wrong answers in compass visual aggregation applier and right answers in code and mongo shell

expectation was to get the same number everywhere after aggregation was applied
