      This builds on DRIVERS-333. jeff.yemin points out that a number of drivers don't support a URI like:

      mongodb://host/?authMechanism=MONGODB-X509&ssl=true&...

      Apply the rules in the description of DRIVERS-333 to authentication using the URI.
