Merge CSOT feature into main branch

      Description: The CSOT branch needs to be merged into the main branch to include this feature as alpha in upcoming releases. This merge will also help in moving development to the main branch to avoid accumulating merge conflicts.

      Acceptance Criteria:

      1. All tests must pass on the CSOT pull request (PR) with all build variants enabled.
      2. Tests on the master branch must pass after merging the CSOT branch.
      3. All related CSOT task tickets must be mentioned in the CSOT PR description to link the Jira tickets with the pull request. This is essential for better tracking and future reference.
