Today when the user specifies 

"startup.mode.copy.existing.pipeline"

and

"pipeline"

when the connector starts, it concatenates these two for the copy.  Some customers would like to just use the startup.mode.copy.existing.pipeline setting and not add the pipeline until the copying is finished.
