mongo_session_store https://github.com/brianhempel/mongo_session_store repository is about saving rails sessions to MongoDB.

Since the repository is tightly coupled with MongoDB and combines different ruby MongoDB drivers for saving sessions to MongoDB I propose that MongoDB team takes over the repository. The repository hasn't been update for two years. Gem runs fine with rails4 but needs some update for Rails 5.

The repository owner himself agrees with the idea as it can be seen in this thread https://github.com/brianhempel/mongo_session_store/issues/34

I believe that MongoDB team would be the perfect choice for maintening the repository.
