To my knowledge there is no tutorial for beginners similar to the Rails blog tutorial that uses Mongoid (or MongoDB for the data store). This makes it challenging for new users to start using Mongoid/MongoDB in Ruby.

The Mongoid tutorial will be shorter than the standard Rails one because we won't need to bother with migrations.

We can also consider creating a Sinatra blog tutorial and a Rails blog tutorial.
