Since Rails 7.0 version is in alpha today & expected to have a final stable version in late of the year, it would be better to have mongoid available with rails 7.0 version. Today, it installs 1.0.6 version of mongoid (released about 11 years ago, might need to depreciate or yank this version and previous ones) in Rails 7.0.
