As I'm told, the node driver currently has a 6 minutes socket timeout for read operations. Atlas Data Lake queries can routinely last more than 6 minutes, meaning that they cannot be run with the node driver by default.
More pressingly, since mongosh uses the node driver and doesn't provide an option to override the socket timeout for reader operations, users are currently unable to use mongosh to run common queries against their data lakes that run for more than 6 minutes.
