Determine Wire Version From Connection

      Currently the driver determines the underlying wire version from the server description, which in some cases (such as load balancer mode) is not available due to the lack of monitoring. The driver must be changed to execute wire version checks on operations with the connection that is going to be checked out to perform said operation.

      AC TBD (Needs kickoff/refinement to discuss the implementation details)
