We never officially supported Jython although we do test with it. In the past it has been useful in catching Python portability issues however, there are numerous bugs and quirks in Jython which complicate testing. Getting the tests to pass (and pass consistently) and triaging test failures is an ongoing effort no longer worth the effort. Jython only "supports" Python 2 which is EOL. Let's stop testing Jython altogether.
