      Context

      In PYTHON-5141 we did the required work for compliance with DPLATFORMS-374. This ticket is to track cleaning up our workflows to replace SILK_ASSET_GROUP with the use of sbom_in_path as done in https://github.com/mongodb/libmongocrypt/pull/959. This is not a required action for DPLATFORMS-374 but is a clean up.

      Additionally, we need to update the release process to document that we no longer need to update the SILK_ASSET_GROUP or the sbom file when creating a new branch.

      Definition of done

      Update relevant release workflow files and the release process.
