Problem

The default Realm Sync function call time timeous is just *6* seconds. This seems too low even for just a simple network request and overall seems like a typo considering the usual default timeout for network requests is 60 seconds and the default function call timeout is 90 seconds. Good thing there is a workaround thanks to AppConfiguration but adjusting the default value seems a good thing to do also.

Solution

Change the default function call timeout at least to 60 seconds.

How important is this improvement for you?

Fairly niche, but nice to have anyway.
