      The .NET SDK tried to change the implementation of RefreshAsync in order to solve an async issue brought up by a user (https://github.com/realm/realm-dotnet/issues/2739). The new implementation (https://github.com/realm/realm-dotnet/pull/2783), even though seemed to work at first sight, was quite hacky, and would probably make more sense to implement the missing functionality at the core level.
