Currently, the templates include realm in the package.json in a way that would automatically update to the latest on any new install of the template. This can lead to incompatibilities out of the box as soon as newer versions of realm and react-native are released. To ensure the templates always work, the versions of react-native, realm and expo should be pinned to what was working at the time of the release.
