Developers think of users in terms of the IDs they provided to the authentication provider (their email, nickname, etc.) or other metadata like their first and last name. But this information is not available in the reference Realm. This enhancement would (as #1041) require access to the /__admin Realm of the server - and thus have the same considerations to take into account.
