This epic was created retroactively as we are tweaking our process, cost estimates are approximate. Cost in Eng Weeks: ~10 Original | ~16 To Date | ~17 Est Final 2021-02-09: Updating target date to 2021-02-12 Oleg has been working closely with Jeremy to iterate on the design. Updates have been captured in a miniature design doc (for ease of review) with LGTMs due this Friday. Oleg's Ruby implementation is caught up with the design changes. Meanwhile Jeremy is working on a second POC in PHP. Cost in Eng Weeks: ~10 Original | ~14 To Date | ~15 Est Final 2021-01-26: Setting target date to 2021-01-29 Due to feedback on the design and spec PR for this Common Drivers project, we have moved the tickets for this epic back into progress. Oleg plans to complete a full iteration on the design by the end of the week at which point we will need to reassess if any further changes are necessary. 2021-01-12: Setting target date to 2021-01-15 The Ruby implementation is in code review and the only outstanding implementation ticket is the design author task of updating Astrolabe to use Python's unified test runner. The design for this project is in final review seeking LGTMs this week - once achieved other drivers can begin implementations. 2020-01-07: Setting target date to 2021-01-15 I (Alex Golin) created this epic to help itemize the remaining work for Oleg to complete the design portion of DRIVERS-828. This epic captures the work required now that Ruby’s implementation of Unified Test Runner is complete. When this epic is complete, Ruby will be done with their implementation of Comprehensive Test Suites and other teams can begin their implementations of the completed design.
