While getting our test suite to work with the narrowed localhost exception (RUBY-798) I noticed that the complex_connect and read_preference tests were excluded from the replica set test suite. This is as of a commit in December 2012.

They don't pass when run individually, even before the updates for the narrowed localhost exception. I'm creating this ticket so that we don't lose track of the fact that they don't work. Fixing them is out of the scope of RUBY-798.
