In the case that we are sorting or spilling during the scanning collection phase of an index yield, we may not yield to DDLs that get sent during this phase. This can lead to operations being blocked because we are queueing up a MODE X lock from the DDLs behind the MODE IX lock from scanning collections during the index build.
