I am sure that this has been reported before, but I haven't been able to find an issue for it, so I create it just in case.

From some minor version mongodb-3.0.X onwards and until the current 3.2 version, the link from /etc/init.d/mongodb to /lib/init/upstart-job is not created when installing mongodb-org package in Ubuntu 14.04.

And not only that: If a link already exists, it removes it.

The result is that the service mongodb * commands just work properly but bash autocomplete does not.

Creating the link manually with the command ln -s /lib/init/upstart-job /etc/init.d/mongod works properly.
