It isn't optional anymore and I must add an invariant in SERVER-36015 to ensure it's there because I am removing the alternative non-uuid code path.
It threads through a lot of code – other functions passing OptionalCollectionUUID objects into onCreateIndex --, so I couldn't include it in SERVER-36015.
