      In the shell, it is possible to enable "allowDiskUse" for a find operation by calling the 'allowDiskUse()' function. However, if the find operation is part of an explain, 'allowDiskUse()' is no longer available.

      > db.test.explain().find({$sort: {x: 1}}).allowDiskUse()
