      Similar to PathArr, PathObj predicates are transformed into equivalent intervals that can be used inside SargableNode (see SERVER-69217). The CE of such intervals can be done via the per-type Object counter stored in ArrayHistogram.

      The task that introduced mapping of PathObj to intervals is SERVER-69217. There has been some dicussion on the subject of PathObj in this PR https://github.com/10gen/mongo/pull/7515.
