      This overlaps with SERVER-72605 and SERVER-64174. 

      In general, we need to do a pass over the AsioSession implementations and look for simplifications, ensure the semantics are correct, ensure there is adequate testing. This is fairly open ended, but the details around what is exactly needed are not clear yet.
