      This is a follow up ticket from SERVER-74725...

       

      Currently there is some double net code to ensure that that we do not have a key in the sort pattern twice. Since SERVER-74725 uasserts the duplicate fields right now. The places in the code were fixed that generate duplicate fields hence we can remove the double net from the sort key generation.
