The checkHistoricalPlacementMetadataConsistency() function (which cross checks the consistency between the routing table and the most recent entry in config.placementHistory) is currently part of a js test teardown hook, but the same logic could be also periodically run throughout the execution of  a js/FSM test, increasing test coverage.
