Query commands are used not just by user applications but also by internal subsystems. When these query commands fail, the errors contain the underlying query optimization/execution details but may not contain namespace information. This namespace information is easy to deduce for user applications but this may not be the case for queries originating from internatl subsystems (sharding for example).

This is an improvement that was proposed when we were reviewing SERVER-87089.
