BSON uses little-endian, and SBE values like int64, int32, etc use machine-endian values. We should at least run our unit tests, and preferably some end-to-end tests on a big-endian platform like s390x to be sure that we are byte-swapping in the right places.

The project mongodb-mongo-master-nightly has a s390x build variant.
