      As an alternative to tickets like SERVER-76518, it would be convenient if we could add a microbenchmark or something to measure the performance of FCV downgrade. This way, projects that add code that significantly impact downgrade can find out during their implementation. This would also hold more server teams accountable for understanding impacts on the setFCV command and our downgrade contract.
