The objective of this task is to create a Proof of Concept (POC) for an API that can generate a formatted report of the sharding configuration. This report should retrieve the same data as the `sh.status()` mongo shell helpers do.

The goal here is to lay the groundwork for the API and determine whether to use a command or aggregation infrastructure.

It is not necessary to have a fully functional command/aggregation stage in order to complete this task. The focus is on developing a design concept that is partially proven and will work for the intended purpose.
