      SERVER-93691 reverted the changes in SERVER-82221 to allow listCollections to return commit-pending information in order to avoid hitting the problem described in SERVER-92259. Once SERVER-92259 is backported to 8.0, we need to recommit the changes from SERVER-82221 to prevent hitting this class of issues entirely.
