fsync on flush leaves causes performance dip

      The commit that added an asynchronous fsync to checkpoint flush leaves phase caused a reduction in throughput in the wtperf update-checkpoint-btree.wtperf workload.

      keithbostic Could you take a closer look at this one? I ran on an AWS machine and see a large performance drop off with this change (though run to run variation is also high). michaelcahill ran the same test on tinderbox and saw a consistent ~10% performance drop
