For any commit on Github we currently run the full set of checks and tests. Sometimes it's too excessive, we could save time, compute resources and money by omitting some of these for particular types of change:

• Commit doesn't change any C source (example).
  • But we do want to run those tests which config has changed (example).
• Commit changes are only inside of comments (example).
• ... etc
