With the merge of WT-12783 there are only 7 items in the clang_scan.diff file. As far as I know there isn't a place where we track the validity of the ignored clang_scan warnings. I imagine Jira may hold some of that information but it would be easier if each line or set of lines had a comment relating to it.
The comment would simply inform the reader that the ignored warning is a known false positive, and the reason why.
Right now those warnings pertain to rather critical sections of the code, so the follow on work from this ticket is to inspect each warning and add a comment if it is indeed a false positive.
