Find and account for all code paths that invalidate cached checkpoint information

      Find out all the code paths that could change metadata for a dhandle (eg: alter), or take a single dhandle checkpoint. All these paths will have to invalidate the cached ckpt structures. Along with the changes for invalidation, this merits adding more testing, if this scenario is already not covered under our existing tests.
