If a connection can not be established, instead of reporting that the host does not have a MongoD running on the port, Compass could report additional info.

For example, it could switch to a diagnostic mode and report things like:

• access to host - does the hostname exists?
• access to port 27017 - is port 27017 blocked by a firewall?
• login - does the username exist
• ...
