After loading compass the main screen turns blank

      Problem Statement/Rationale

      After load compass the main screen turns blank, preventing you from working.

      Initially everything seems to load correctly, it takes a few seconds before it goes blank. You can reload the window (CTRL+SHIFT+R) to see the content again, but after a couple of seconds it goes blank again.

      Steps to Reproduce

      Simply open compass latest version 1.40.0. With version 1.39.4 this does not happen.

      Additional Notes

      I have noticed (on some occasions) that if you do not click on any element of the application (just open it and wait) the screen does not go blank, but when you click on it, the failure appears.
